April - July 2010Mrs SA Reports – Latest Dear Finalists, Supporters and Friends This year has been extremely busy so far but I have enjoyed every single moment. With only two months left as Mrs SA 2009, my year is quickly drawing to a close, but I intend to make the best of my time left. I am fully booked before (and even after!) I hand over my crown which just goes to show how life changing the title can be. I would just like to share a few of my latest highlights of the past few months: April 2010: Highlights in April were the following: Reach for a Dream Foundation: I had the opportunity to inspire little disadvantaged and ill girls at the “Queen for a Day” campaign as part of the Reach for a dream Foundation. I also had the opportunity to meet Miss SA, Nicole Flint and Miss SA Teen for 2010, Chante Jantjies at this event. Miss Houtstok in I was one of the celebrity judges at the Miss Houtstok event held in With Cindy Nell Roberts, Mimi Baartman and the winners of the Miss Houtstok Pageant Celebrity Catwalk for Charity: Wow! What an amazing night. Gary Rom Hair (who is also one of my main sponsors) hosted this glamorous event with many celebs and former Miss SA’s. May 2010: These are some of the highlights for the month of May: Miss Welkom Gimnasium: It was an honor and nostalgic experience for me when my old high school asked me to be the MC at the annual Miss Gimmie Pageant. I won the pageant over 15 years ago, so it was great to be back and to go back as Mrs SA. Honored at my former high school..! Definitely one of the most awesome highlights of my whole year..! I am the official “face” of Dermaphuzion during my year of reign – Dermaphuzion had a product launch in We received first-class treatment everywhere we went and were truly stalked by Mauritiun “Paparazzi” wherever we went. I did many magazine photo shoots, television interviews and attended many glamorous functions while enjoying the beautiful Thank you to Dermaphuzion for the time of my life..! Fifa Soccer World Cup 2010: Although I did not get to attend many soccer matched due to being out of the country during June, I did get to meet Zakumi and was a proud Bafana Bafana supporter! With Zakumi..!
I was asked to be the celebrity model at the Shoprite Checkers Fashion Event. I love any kind of fashion show – so this also counts as a highlight! See picture below with me and some of my models..!
